This week we almost completely wing it, as even though most of us got comics, we didn't really read the comics, or watch much tv, or read much news. Ahhh, can you tell that it's summer yet? Wait till Supernatural comes back, then we'll go on and on for hours.

Ha! I was mentioned!! :D
Not to bring us back, but I think the most douchey cologne for men may be ANYthing by Axe! Or something a guy would get that's called like, 'ladies' man' or something. ;)
And er, sometimes, I have a hard time putting your names with faces (or avatars or whatever) and why are Dania and Tabby not part of the discussion? O.o
"I love Ice Road Truckers!" LOL!! :D
Also, for the ideas about superhero criminality and legal recourse and all, there IS the comic book, Supernatural Law, which often dealt with various questions about those things! ;)

You can babble on for an hour and your show is still better than most.
Unfortunately Monkey Jesus has risen. http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Monkey_Jesus

I started listening to your fine podcast a few weeks ago and really enjoy it. Sometimes it seems like you could use some discussion topics for weeks when you haven't read or watched anything. To that end, here are four question-like topics:
-What do you make of literary non-superhero comics like Eisner's A Contract With God trilogy, Spiegelman's Maus and Satrapi's Persepolis? Can they co-exist with Watchmen and Kingdom Come, or do they have to be separated? Do you have any favorites?
-Sometimes major companies flip continuity, like DC showing us alternate earths where Joker's a hero or everyone is black, or Marvel's Age of Apocalypse and House of M events. Do you have any favorite or least favorite mirror earths? Any you'd like to see happen? Marvel Puppies counts.
-How do you feel about J. Michael Straczynski leaving Thor over not wanting to write a massive crossover? He rebuilt Thor's mythos for two years creating one of my favorite books, and given how overdone crossover events have been this decade, I was pretty furious to lose it so Marvel could have yet another event.
-Lastly, though the big boss has been spoiled in leaked cover art, how great would it have been if Blackest Night was masterminded by Neil Gaiman's Death?

Yup I call them pirate boots or cavalier boots.

And I am totally agreed on superheroes needing more pirate boots these days. I think Black Canary is the only hold out...and that depends on the artist. God Bless those 1980's X-men though for rocking both pirate boots and mullets (Long Shot I'm looking at you).
