Are you downloading here or from iTunes? On the VU meter it peaks at -3, which is just before overmodulation. It might lose some volume in the compression to MP3, but generally it's edited very loudly.
No, I just hit the link from your (this) site, and let it play on my Windows Media Player. I turn it and the computer volume to it's highest, but for a lot of the time, it's still not sufficient. :(

Love the podcast girls, but for me, even with my computer at it's highest volume, most times I can't hear y'all. (esp. with a fan or ac running) :(
I wonder if it's the recording or your mouths not close enough to the phones or whatever, but this makes me sad.
