Friday Links is Sexy Times

Here is the Friday links post we started but forgot to post on Friday, because... comic book convention, what can I say? It was an exciting weekend of running around like idiots, pointing at things and laughing and dancing. We also ate almost nothing but pizza, and I somehow have managed to lose three pounds as a result. Maybe it was all the running around and laughing, pointing at things, and also dancing?

For those of you that live in Australia, I implore you to adopt this cat. For God's sake, this cat will avenge your deaths for the rest of your lives, if need be. And he won't have to get a rage kitty ring to do it. He's the GODDAMN BATMAN CAT. [It appears over the weekend, Batman Cat was adopted. Yay!]

Speaking of avenging deaths, if Laura doesn't turn my ashes in to bullets I'll be so disappointed. I don't encourage her to make a collectible comic with my remains, because what if there are typos?

Lots of people asked about the Transformers Tardis graphic from last week's links roundup. It was a design by Jason Casteel, who often designs shirts printed by GraphicLab, including that one. They recently reprinted a limited edition SDCC design, maybe if enough Who fans write in for a reprinting of the Tardis one, they'll listen? You have nothing to lose! T-Shirt campaign! Go!

Coventry Tales is in part written by our friend Gareth. It's releasing in November, and is an anthology of stories from writers all in the Birmingham area. If you're in the UK, you can pre-order it here; Americans can pre-order it here.

Don't forget, we'll be walking in the Autism Speaks Walk on November 12th, and anyone who donates to our team before then gets registered to win a prize pack from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far, and please feel free to join the team (for free!) and come out to the Dallas walk and support our Geektress family.

Anyway, Halloween is fast approaching, which means that Francene will be watching horror movies non-stop and pretending that she doesn't do that anyway, the Geektress headquarters will be filled with candy and pumpkins, and Brenda's birthday is soon. So buy some brain candy for her and then maybe stick around to watch Brain Candy.
