For some reason I can't find out much about this animated short that will appear as a bonus feature on the Special Edition Blu-Ray and 2-Disc Special Edition DVD release of "Batman: Under the Red Hood" (July 27th). What I can gather is that Jonah will be voiced by Thomas Jane, but it also stars Linda Hamilton, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Michael Rooker in unspecified roles.
In the DC Showcase story, the tough-as-nails bounty hunter Jonah Hex always gets his man - until someone else gets to him first - in this case a murderous madam who wants to steal more than just her bounty from Jonah Hex.
More pictures after the jump.
The short is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, who has directed other shorts for DC Animation (The Spectre and Green Arrow), along with a handful of Justice League episodes. Also, it's written by Joe R. Lansdale, whom you may recognize as the weird yet awesome author of many novellas featuring famous people fighting B-movie monsters (let's say he's the grandfather of the genre). His most famous tale is probably the story of Bubba Ho-Tep, later adapted in to a movie of same name starring The King, His Majesty of Boomsticks, Bruce Campbell. (Seriously, go rent Bubba Ho-Tep right now.)

R2-D2 was named after that a technician from "American Graffiti" asked to Lucas the Reel number 2, Dialogue track number 2.
